For nearly two decades we have not used chemical to fertilize or prevent insects from harming our trees and crops. The proof lies in the multitude of butterflies, dragonflies, moths, caterpillars and insects that you will find thriving on out farm.
So how do we protect our crops and grow our food, we use multiple natural methods of farming, such as permaculture and as well as lessons from nature. If you notice all our leaves that fall of the trees are around the trees, in forest nobody removes these leaves and they go back into the soil providing nutrition.
Nobody sprays the trees, yet they provide enough for the animals and birds to feed on, a forest system not only generates enough food but also purifies and gives you oxygen to breath. We’re slowly trying to mimic a forest like system which will provide us with produce througout the year.
Some of the natural farming techniques we use are cow dung and urine in multiple forms, neem oil, decoy host trees, mulching, organic fertilizers, pruning, composting, leachate, worms and more.
If you every get a chance to eat some of our produce you will find flavours that tickle your taste buds far more than any store purchases.
