The property was... read more very peaceful and green with lots of butterflies. The accomodation was very clean, one of the best across all airbnbs we have been to.
Mama and Mami are very nice people who were always around to help without encroaching on our privacy. Mama took us for walks to a nice river spot and the water was very clean. Mami made meals suited to our requirements ( less oily and less spice) which was very tasty as well. Her chicken curry was excellent and my son loved it. We loved her tea as well.
The house also contained different indoor / outdoor game equipment.

  We stayed for 3 days at Clyde's farmhouse. We have done several stays through Airbnb over the years, and this rates amongst the most enjoyable. The farm is around 15... read more min drive from Karjat, near a village called Kadava. Clyde, Bhavika and their family were there to meet us when we reached. They took us around the whole farm. It was wonderful to see so many different varieties of plants, flowers, fruits and vegetables, incl several with medicinal properties. Their passion and knowledge in this field came out very clearly during our interaction then.

The bungalow has 2 large bedrooms and a large living room with an ample sized open kitchen on one side. Most amenities that one would require were there. Overall, it was very comfortable with special attention to cleanliness and hygiene. Clyde was very prompt in his responses and suggestions and did everything necessary to make us feel at home. The caretaker was super helpful too, a cheerful person who was happy to go out of his way to attend to anything we needed.

Swimming pool, bonfine on each night etc added more enjoyment to our stay. There is a very friendly and adorable dog which stays in the farm. WIFI worked well.

For food, we tried both the locally cooked food from village (Clyde arranged) as well as from simple restaurants within 10-15 mins drive - both options were good and are worth trying.

Weather was very pleasant (in December 3rd week), almost cold. Cross-ventilation within the bungalow is good. The bungalow does not have AC - I wouldn't know about summer, but in winter/monsoons, I dont think it is required. Amazingly, despite so much greenery/vegetation there, we were not bothered by mosquitos / insects.
