Welcome to Shalom farm stay, where nature greets you in all its glory!

Thank you for staying with us, we guarantee you a peaceful stay away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Take a few deep breaths and soak in the beauty that’s around you. Everything in nature follows its own rhythm, and we want to keep it that way.

A few things to keep in mind to make your stay pleasurable and memorable:)

  • We segregate our waste, so please use the steel bowl on the kitchen window for the wet waste, the dry waste, goes in the black and orange dustbins.
  • The boiler switches are the ones with the indicators near the bathroom door. They need at least 10 minutes, and you will get ample hot water for an enjoyable bath.
  • The green button of the pump needs to be on when going for a bath so you get decent pressure. Please use the red button to switch it off when done. This switch is located in the yellow bedroom
  • The cigarette buds belong in the ashtray and not around the farm.
  • Do not stick anything on the walls, you can use the metal parts of the doors and windows for balloons etc.
  • No smoking indoors please, the balconies await you.
  • Our flooring and stone tables and flooring doesn’t like sour lime, it eats into them, so please be careful how you squeeze your lime 🙂
  • Although the staff is courteous and nice, don’t forget that at Shalom, we do the cleaning ourselves, the entire house and even the pool. So please keep the place clean.
  • Be gentle with all you do, treat Shalom as your second home, a sacred space to unwind and heal.
  • If you do not take meals, please wash and keep the kitchen clean.
  • Revel in the experience of eating on banana leaves. Food, when served on banana leaves, gets enriched with several nutrients that we would otherwise miss.
  • Please do not pluck any vegetables or fruits or ask for plant cuttings without informing us.
  • The wooden showcase with crockery in the bedroom is not to be opened, as that holds personal memorabilia for us.
  • Please avoid giving tips to the staff as it becomes the only motive to work for, and the actual work remains undone. If you still feel like tipping, then drop it in the round wooden tip box in the yellow bedroom, and it shall be divided among the staff.
  • No illegal activity of any kind to be conducted on the premises.

Thank you, and we really hope that you have a great stay at Shalom!

    For Pet Parents

  • Please do ensure your dog is clean before entering the house.
  • Do ensure your dog doesn’t chew on our tables and chairs.
  • A clean dog ensures no pug marks on our walls.
